Baggage allowance

Any baggage must be labelled with the passenger's name, surname, telephone number and full address. In addition, the baggage must not exceed, in number and/or weight, what is allowed for transport as required by the regulations of each individual carrier. Should the baggage exceed the limits, transport is authorized (where applicable), subject to payment of the "excess ticket" at the ticket office (subject to availability).

Luggage trolleys

Airgest in order to offer better services to its passengers and align itself with the highest international quality standards, has chosen to make the luggage trolley service free of charge. At the end of use, customers are required to reposition the luggage trolley at the pick-up/collection station (external porch, arrivals entrance area). Any theft, damage or careless use of the material owned by this manager will be prosecuted according to the law.

HAND LUGGAGE

Only one piece of hand baggage is allowed on board the aircraft (check with the airline for the permitted weight and size), in addition to the following items (unless otherwise specified by the airline):

  • handbag or document bag or laptop
  • camera, camcorder or CD player
  • mobile telephone, other small electrical/electronic equipment, of normal use
  • Overcoat or raincoat
  • Umbrella
  • crutches or other means of walking
  • Reading articles for travel
  • Portable cot/stroller and milk/baby food, necessary for travel
  • items purchased at duty free shops and shops inside the airport and on aircraft
  • liquid/solid medicines essential for strictly personal medical, therapeutic and dietary purposes and necessary for the duration of the trip. A special medical prescription is required for liquid medicines

Special restrictions apply to the transport of liquids, as well as dangerous items and other prohibited items.

Prohibited items in carry-on baggage

  • firearms of all kinds, such as pistols, revolvers, rifles, rifles
  • toy weapons, replicas and imitations of firearms that can be mistaken for real weapons
  • components of firearms, excluding scopes with rifle scope
  • air or carbon dioxide weapons, such as pistols, pellet guns, carbines and ball guns
  • flare guns and starter guns
  • bows, crossbows and arrows
  • Spearguns and spearguns
  • slingshots and catapults
  • neutralizing devices, such as stun guns, paralyzing guns (tasers) and electric shock batons
  • tools for stunning and killing animals
  • chemicals, gases and sprays capable of producing disabling or immobilizing effects, such as irritant sprays, tear gas, acids and animal repellents
  • cutting articles, such as axes, hatchets and cleavers
  • ice axes and ice picks
  • razor blades
  • Cutters
  • Knives with blades over 6 cm long
  • scissors with blades over 6 cm long measured from the fulcrum
  • Martial arts equipment that has a sharp point or sharp end
  • swords and sabres
  • palanquins
  • drills and drill bits, including cordless handheld electric drills
  • tools equipped with blades or bits over 6 cm long that can be used as weapons, such as screwdrivers and chisels
  • saws, including cordless hand-held electric saws
  • Welders
  • Pistols with darts and nail guns
  • Baseball and softball bats
  • clubs and sticks, such as truncheons and truncheons
  • Martial Arts Equipment
  • Ammunition
  • Detonators and primers
  • Detonators and fuses
  • Reproductions or imitations of explosive devices
  • mines, grenades and other explosive military materials
  • Fireworks and other pyrotechnics
  • Smoke canisters and cartridges
  • Dynamite, gunpowder and plastic explosives
  • water and other beverages, soups, syrups
  • creams, lotions and oils
  • Perfumes
  • spray
  • Gels (including hair and shower gels)
  • contents of pressurized vessels (including shaving foams, other foams, aerosols, and deodorants)
  • pastes (including toothpaste)
  • mixtures of liquids and solids
  • Mascara
  • any other product of similar consistency

CHECKED BAGGAGE

Passengers are not allowed to carry the following items in their checked baggage:

  • Ammunition
  • Detonators and primers
  • Detonators and fuses
  • mines, grenades and other explosive military materials
  • Smoke canisters and cartridges
  • Dynamite, gunpowder and plastic explosives
  • spray cans for self-defense
  • Components of vehicle fuel systems that have contained fuel
  • Alarm devices
  • Gases, including propane and butane
  • flammable liquids, including gasoline and methanol
  • Coolants and irritants
  • radioactive material, including medical or commercial isotopes
  • flammable solids and reactive substances, including magnesium, ignition devices, pyrotechnic articles and flares
  • corrosive substances, including mercury and vehicle batteries
  • liquid/solid flammable substances including alcohol above 70 degrees
  • Magnetizing substances
  • oxidizing substances and organic peroxides, including bleach and car body repair kits
  • toxic or infectious substances, including rat poison and infected blood
  • Diving torch with batteries inserted
