Safety Management System

At Airgest S.p.A., the Safety Management System (SMS) is a system suitable for ensuring that airport operations are carried out in the pre-established safety conditions and at the same time assessing the effectiveness of the system itself in order to intervene to correct any deviations.

Safety management, in Airgest S.p.A., is a primary mission in the exercise of the assigned role of airport manager. All those involved are required to comply with the security requirements of the airport and to apply the relevant procedures.
To allow a careful and effective reporting system of aeronautical events (Reporting System), a dedicated e-mail address has been set up safety@airgest.it, which allows the collection of various reports on the subject of Safety.
The review and improvement of operational safety levels is also guaranteed by the continuous processes of Risk Analysis, auditing and specific Safety Objectives, concerning the issues dealt with during the Safety Boards and Safety Committees.
