Ensuring access to the airport by eliminating any dangerous situation and allowing a safe and comfortable stay in the airport area is our priority.

For this reason, the road access to Trapani airport will vary in terms of improving vehicle flow for the benefit of passengers’ safety and their companions.

In the land-side area, a regulated traffic area will be created within which the user can move through the dedicated entry and exit lanes which will be governed by the activation of a system with bar columns equipped with cameras with reading plates.

The right lane will be reserved exclusively for taxis, airport operators, and authorized, while the left lane will be dedicated to private cars, NCC (Rental with driver), State Bodies, etc, significantly reducing the congestion of the arterial roads inside the airport grounds.  To reach the areas reserved for NCC (Rental with driver) you will have to access the P1 car park.

An area exclusively dedicated to the movement and parking of buses for loading/unloading passengers and a safe reserved pedestrian path will be created, for connection to the bus station and to the rent a car area.

In addition to this, there will be a reserved area in front of the terminal, inside the P1 parking lot, for operators with an NCC license (Rental with Driver).

A single stop area will be dedicated to the descent of departing passengers (Kiss&Fly) accompanied by a private car, in front of the departure and arrivals terminal.

ACCESS TO LAND SIDE ROADS

After collecting the entrance ticket, it must be kept to be used later to leave the airport area by going to the exit gates of the grounds.

With the consideration of € 1.00, paid to access the grounds, you are entitled to a comfortable stop of 1 hour (one), after which the current parking tariff applies.

Outside the P1 car park, at the entrance to the terminal, 18 places will be reserved for free parking of authorized cars for people with reduced mobility.
The seats, outlined in yellow, will be indicated with international symbols and immediately visible. Upon exhaustion of the dedicated outdoor stalls, free parking will be allowed inside the P1 car parks.

FOR ACCOMPANYING PEOPLE.

It is possible to directly and comfortably access the parking area P1 for carrying out the activities of loading and unloading passengers and baggage.

There is also a “Kiss & fly short stop” area, in front of the Terminal, in the carriageway reserved for cars, mainly dedicated to the fast loading and unloading of passengers and luggage. Carers interested in the rapid loading/unloading of passengers, once finished, can also enter Parking P1.

For both solutions, the payment of a fee of € 1.00 is required for access to the grounds, with which you are entitled to a comfortable stop of 1 hour (one), after which the current parking tariff applies.

The exit coupon from the airport grounds area must be inserted in the exit column within 15 minutes of payment.

FOR PASSENGERS ARRIVING AT THE AIRPORT WITH THEIR OWN CAR?

Passengers arriving at the airport with their own car can access the parking areas P1.
Once you have finished your stay and paid for the ticket, you can leave the car park and the airport grounds by going to the exit bars, where it is still possible to pay the ticket exclusively by credit card or debit card or the “Trapani airport parking” app.
The exit coupon from the airport grounds area must be inserted in the exit column within 15 minutes of payment.

FOR PRM – PASSENGERS WITH REDUCED MOBILITY AND FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES?

At the entrance to the airport, 18 parking spaces are reserved for free parking of authorized cars for people with reduced mobility and people with disabilities.
The seats, outlined in yellow, are indicated with international symbols and are immediately visible. Once the dedicated stalls are exhausted, free parking is allowed inside the P1 car parks. During the exit phase, you must go to the manned cash desk at the Airport Services offices located on the ground floor – Terminal departures area to validate the entry ticket which must be inserted in the exit barriers to leave the airport grounds

FOR TAXIS

All taxis entitled to access the reserved parking areas of the Arrivals / Departures Terminal must reach the passenger waiting or unloading / loading area intended for them.

For access to the regulated traffic area, the Taxi operator of the Trapani / Marsala / Misiliscemi district must be accredited at the airport services office by delivering the appropriate documentation or must send a request via email to ufficiopass@airgest.it, in in order to regularize their entrances.

FOR NCC (RENTAL WITH DRIVER)

All NCC holders of regular licenses must reach the parking areas appropriately identified by stalls dedicated to them and position them inside the P1 car park in front of the terminal. A dedicated pedestrian path allows users to go to the NCC stalls.

To access the regulated traffic area, the NCC and Taxi operator outside the Trapani / Marsala / Misiliscemi district must be accredited at the airport services office by delivering the appropriate documentation or must send a request via email to ufficiopass@airgest.it, in order to regularize their entrances.

FOR THE BUSES

Both the TPL (Local Public Transport) buses and the authorized commercial buses have an area exclusively dedicated to the movement and parking of buses. At the service of the bus area, there is a safe reserved pedestrian path, for connecting the bus station to the airport terminal.

For access to the regulated traffic area, the Commercial BUS operator must register with the airport services office by delivering the appropriate documentation or must send a request via email to ufficiopass@airgest.it, in order to regularize their entrances.

FOR RENTAL CARS

Passengers who collect a rental car must take a ticket from the appropriate exit column from the dedicated car park, from that moment they have 15 minutes to leave the airport grounds by inserting the ticket near the airport exit gates.

Passengers who deliver a rental car, once they enter the grounds, have 10 minutes to reach the dedicated car park to which access has required the ticket is collected from the airport access gates

FOR USUAL COURIERS AND OCCASIONAL SUPPLIERS

The usual couriers and occasional suppliers entering the premises must collect the ticket, access the lane reserved for TAXI / authorized vehicles, pass the barrier, and park in the parking lot dedicated to loading and unloading goods located near the airport. During the exit phase, it is necessary to go to the manned cash desk at the Airport Services offices located on the ground floor – Terminal departures area to validate the entry ticket which must be inserted in the exit barriers to leave the airport grounds;
