General conditions for online purchase of parking spaces at the “V. Florio” of Trapani -Birgi Airport Car Park


The service has as its object the online sale of car parking spaces at the Trapani – Birgi Airport Car Park.
These general conditions of sale (hereinafter as the “Conditions”) apply to purchases made through the website and through the Trapani Airport Parking Mobile Application managed by Airgest S.p.A. “Vincenzo Florio” Trapani Airport. The customer is requested to carefully read these Conditions which regulate the purchasing process, parking and access to airport parking areas and undertakes to comply with all the provisions contained in these Conditions. Airgest S.p.A. reserves the right to modify these Conditions at any time, without notice, it being understood that the Customer’s purchase, validated by Airgest S.p.A., in accordance with the provisions defined below, is regulated by the conditions existing on the day of the execution of purchase. The updated Conditions are always available in their full version on the website. These Conditions must be read and are understood to be approved in their entirety before the Customer ends the purchase transaction.


According to the indications given on the website and in the mobile application, the Customer must book the parking space in advance, by filling in the appropriate form, at least 30 minutes before the time indicated for the entry into the car park and within 120 days prior to date of entry. Parking space can be purchased subject to availability on the chosen date and time. The minimum booked parking time may not be less than 1 hour. Access to the car park is not permitted later than 3 hours after the booked entry time. Any changes in entry/exit to date and time of booking are possible and do not change the amount and validity of the reservation for the same duration of parking if the following conditions are met:

  • early entry: if entry is anticipated for no more than 3 (three) hours;
  • postponed entry: if entry is postponed by no more than 3 (three) hours;

For any changes in the length of stay indicated in the booking confirmation e-mail:

  • if the duration of the stay is less than that indicated in the Booking Confirmation, there is no refund of the amount paid by the Customer at the time of booking;
  • if the duration of the stay is more than 3 (three) hours longer than that indicated in the Booking Confirmation, from the third hour onwards the daily rates in force will apply.

The correct conclusion of the reservation is confirmed by Airgest by sending a communication to the e-mail address communicated by the Customer during the booking phase. This confirmation message will contain the booking details and the QRCode attached.
The Customer will receive from the banking system appointed by Airgest to carry out the online transaction, confirmation of the transaction by sending a communication to the e-mail address communicated by the Customer during the purchase. This confirmation message will contain a unique transaction code assigned by the payment circuit. In the event that an error occurs during the purchase procedure, the Customer will display an information notice on the screen regarding the failure to complete the purchase.

The purchase of the parking is not transferable by the customer to another person, and is valid only for the date, time, price, parking, specified during the purchase.

Parking rates are available on the Site. Prices may be subject to change. The parking time charged to the Customer at the time of purchase is calculated on the basis of the times selected at the time of purchase, therefore, if the actual times of entry and exit from the parking lot involve a longer stay inside the same, with a longer duration than the reservation, the customer, for excess parking, will be subject to the application of the rate in force. This amount must be paid by the Customer directly to the exit column via credit cards or to the automatic cash machines located at the exit of the arrivals hall of the Terminal or to the manned cash desk at the airport services offices located on the ground floor of the Terminal’s departures area.

All prices are indicated in Euros and include VAT.

Once entered the car park, the Customer is considered to have accepted the conditions of use indicated in the regulations posted at the entrance to the car park.

Payment must be made by credit card without the application of additional surcharges by Airgest. The financial information (for example, the credit/debit card number or its expiry date) will be forwarded, via encrypted protocol, to the banking system appointed by Airgest to provide remote electronic payment services, without third parties being able to, in any way, have access to it.

Under no circumstances can Airgest be held responsible for any fraudulent and improper use of credit cards by third parties, upon payment of the Service purchased on the Site.

Customers who buy online can request the issuance of the relevant invoice by sending an email to with the following information:

    • Booking code
    • Information on the invoice holder

o by going to the manned cash desk at the airport services offices located on the ground floor in the departure area of ​​the Terminal.


The QR Code assigned to the online booking must be placed, facing upwards, in the special reader of the car park entrance column. Correct reading of the QR Code will result in the automatic issue of the ticket with the wording “Entrance with reservation”. Inside the car park it is possible to choose any of the available spaces. The QR Code allows the access to the car park even if the indication “full car park” is shown.
To leave the car park, the ticket marked “Entrance with reservation” must be inserted into the exit columns to open the bar.
If the duration of the parking is longer than that booked, the exit column will indicate the extra amount to be paid. This payment can be made directly at the exit column using a credit card or at the automatic cash machine located at the exit of the arrivals hall of the Terminal or at the manned cash desk at the Airport Services Offices located on the ground floor of the Terminal’s departure area.

If the Customer is a Consumer in accordance with art. 3, paragraph 1, lett. a), of the Consumers’ Code (“a natural person acting for purposes which are unrelated to his or her trade, business, craft or profession”), he/she can exercise his/her right of withdrawal, without giving any reason and without any charge, within 14 (fourteen) days from the day of the online purchase of a car parking space at Airgest’s Car Park, and in any case up to 24 hours before the declared entrance to the car park (hereinafter “Withdrawal Period”), through e-mail communication to the address by entering the booking details. The right of withdrawal will be correctly exercised if the relevant communication is sent by the Customer before the expiry of the Withdrawal Period.
In the event of withdrawal, refunds will be paid to the Customer by crediting the payment channel used. Airgest S.p.A. will not provide refunds, not even partial, for unused services, except for justified reasons relating to the limited cases listed below:
– malfunctioning of systems or equipment of Airgest’s Car Park;
– closure of Trapani Airport.

Should the duration of parking be shorter than that purchased, the Customer will not be paid any amount by way of reimbursement or compensation for the partial use of the service. Requests for withdrawal or reimbursement, submitted according to terms and conditions different from those described above, will not be taken into consideration.

In the execution of contractual obligations, and in compliance with EU Regulation 679/2016 (hereinafter, “GDPR”), Airgest S.p.A., as Data Controller, will collect and process the personal data of Customers, voluntarily provided by them when purchasing the service. In accordance with the provisions of Articles 13 and 14 of the GDPR, all the information relating to the purposes and methods of the processing of the Customer’s data, the obligatory or optional nature of the provided data, the subjects to whom such data may be supplied, the rights of the Customer (including the modification of such data or its erasure) are described in the special information notice on the Airgest Website which the Customer is explicitly invited to read and accept before proceeding to the purchase of the service on the website.


If the Customer is a consumer, the jurisdiction for civil disputes that may arise in relation to these Terms and Conditions shall be that of the judge of the place of residence or domicile of the consumer, if located in the territory of the State. If this is not the case, or if the Customer is not a consumer, the Court of Trapani shall have exclusive jurisdiction. These General Terms and Conditions are governed by Italian law and by the provisions on distance selling contained in Chapter I of Title III of Part III of the Consumer Code (Legislative Decree no. 206/2005) and by the rules on electronic commerce set out in Legislative Decree no. 70/2003. For all matters not explicitly provided for in this contract, reference shall be made to the provisions of the Civil Code, book IV, title II. The nullity, even partial, of one or more clauses of these General Terms and Conditions shall not entail to thereof nullity, nor that of the remaining partially null clause.
